A decade of listening

A decade of listening *
WE MAY BE A GREAT TEAM if:
You’re looking for a more integrated and holistic approach to change.
You’ve done talk therapy before, but need to dig a little deeper.
You are going through big life changes.
You are a perfectionist or experience chronic stress at work and in life.
You would like to process a major life event somatically.
You are looking for a clinical supervisor with a diverse background of training and clinical work who is direct and collaborative.
I believe that true healing happens when we stop trying to "think" our way out of stress and start listening to the wisdom of our bodies.
For over a decade, my work has sat at the intersection of mental health, and human physiology. Whether I am developing wellness programs for adolescents or working one-on-one with adults & adolescents, my goal is to translate the latest clinical research into practical, life-changing tools.
A Physiological Approach to Peace
Many of the high-achieving individuals I work with feel stuck in a cycle of "wired but tired." You may intellectually understand your stressors, yet find that your body remains in a state of high alert—struggling with anxiety, exhaustion, or a sense of being "shut down."
To address this, I incorporate Polyvagal Theory into our work. This is a science-based framework that looks at the nervous system as the foundation of our emotional experience. Instead of just managing symptoms, we work together to:
Map your unique stress responses: Understanding why your body chooses "fight, flight, or freeze."
Retrain the nervous system: Using somatic tools and movement to signal safety to your brain.
Restore regulation: Moving from a state of survival back into a state of high-functioning calm and connection.
My Philosophy
Healing is not a one-size-fits-all process. As a certified yoga instructor and a believer in the power of movement, I view mental health through a holistic lens. My approach is collaborative, direct, and deeply rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a nervous system that feels like home.
When I’m not in the office, I’m likely out hiking, in the mountains with my family, or reading a book—reminders that even in a fast-paced world, there is always room to slow down and reconnect.
